Hi,

I have migrated my laptop from Windows 8.1 to Windows 10. And now the system ask me a new product key.

In the past I have already done this procedure few times on other similar laptops  and I haven't had activation problems.

Please someone can help me to solve this issue?

Thank in advance.

Simon

Hi:

I have zipped up and attached a free utility below, that will show you the product key in the BIOS.

You are not going to have a W10 product key in your notebook as W10 was not an offered operating system at the time your notebook came out.

When you reinstall W10 from a previous upgrade, when you are asked to enter a product key, you are supposed to select the 'I don't have a product key' option and then W10 installs and activates automatically if the PC had been previously upgraded to W10.
