How do I change what starts up when I turn on Windows 10 on my Desktop computer?

I am not sure what the problem is so guessing ---

If you have too many items on the desktop you can create a second desktop.  A better solution is to add a dedicated second monitor.

If you have too many apps running and taking up memory and cpu to where the system runs slow then bring up the tasks manager and start disabling apps until things improve.  You will have to reboot to verify the improvement.  I attached my list of junk that I had to stop but was afraid to uninstall.  Avoid disabling Microsoft apps unless you know they do not apply such as "xbox" which I uninstalled.  I also got rid of that phone call app that came with win10.  Alternately you can add more memory.
