I'd like to change my storage where my OS is installed from 1tb to 2tb, but it's the only NVME storage for the computer and I am worried what will happen to the OS when I change it. So how do I find my OS product-key and do a safe change of my SSD?

Hi:
The Windows product key is in the BIOS.
You don't need it to reinstall W10.
You can view, save and print out the product key with this free utility from the Microsoft store, but you won't need it.

@Anton_Blomberg -- if you have a "spare" 1 TB disk-drive (HDD or SSD):
- use the free Macrium Reflect software to "clone" from the 1 TB stick to the disk-drive.
- remove the 1 TB stick.
- connect the 2 TB stick.
- use the free Macrium Reflect software to "clone" from the disk-drive onto the 2 TB stick.
- QED -- no re-installation of Windows is required.

It's practically the same situation
if you get it back, all the better, but you don't need the key often,

@j798 -- "Speccy" free from CCleaner
I agree. Both the "free" version of SPECCY and that "Cache Cleaner" utiltity come from the same company - PIRIFORM.
SPECCY does show the current Windows product-key, and more importantly, under its "Storage" branch, it shows the S.M.A.R.T. report on the current "health" of your disk-drive(s) -- it is good to check it, once in a while.
