Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I inherited the pc that belonged to my best friend.  She passed away almost a year ago and I am just now getting around to setting it up for my husband to use.  We cannot get past the initial sign on screen.  I have her book of passwords, but none of them work.  Before she died, she told me she couldn't get into it either because she changed the password and didn't remember what it was and neglected to write it down.

At the time, that was the least of my worries.  She had just been diagnosed with an inoperable brain tumor and had only weeks to live.

Fast forward 11 months.  I need to be able to change this password or reregister the computer or something!  Otherwise, it is just a big doorstop!  Can anyone out there help me?

Thank you,

Puglady
