I have an excel spreadsheet on desktop that I cant open as the file is corrupted. Looking to find away of restoring this file. Thanks

There is no simple way to do that, and nothing we can do for you for free.

 

What I suggest is Googling for this online, as there are online services that claim to be able to repair corrupted MS Office files.  Some of them are free but most are  not.  The paid ones often let you repair the file but not retrieve it, so you can see if their service works before you pay for it.
