How do I save a web page to my desk top

New hp desktop trying to save a web page to my desk top for later use  ie: bank, Pharmacy  etc.  Use to just right click and a box would appear asking you whe to save it as cannot do this anymore

It depends on which web-browser that you are using.

For Internet Explorer, below the 'title-bar' at the top of its window, I see:

    File Edit View Favorites Tools Help

Click on 'File', and click on 'Save'.

That will give you the option to save the whole page, including the pictures.

But, maybe, you should instead click on 'Favorites', to add a "bookmark" for that banking web-site.
