HP Recommended

I have an HP Pavilion PC which is showing security problems. On contacting Microsoft, they say I'm up to date but I need to contact HP to update to the latest version

You may currently not have actual security problems if your Windows operating system is up to date.

 

What type of Microsoft push messages are you seeing indicating your PC has security problems?

 

Please provide a HP PC Product Number.

 

Are you using W10 or W11?

 

W10 will be out of support in October, 2025. No security updates after October, 2025.

 

W10 is good to go at this time.

 

Your PC may not be eligible to go to W11 if it is running W10.

 

Microsoft is offering a W10 one year security update extension. I like W10. I'm doing the one year extension on some of my PCs.

 

Many folks in this Forum can provide ways to upgrade your PC to W11 if your PC has a hardware requirement problem.

 

You have "mucho" time to make a decision. Let the Forum know how you want to proceed.
