I own an HP Pavilion Desktop TP01-2147c PC (318B0AA)

 

Unfortunately, my 1TB PCIe NVMe hard drive does no longer work, and is not even detectable in my BIOS. Let's just say that the drive is fried!

 

I bought a new NVMe hard drive, and would like to install Windows, the issue is where do i find my current Windows Product Key???

 

I can't find it printerd on any labels on my desktop....

The Windows product key is encrypted in the BIOS of the PC.

 

You don't need the product key to reinstall Windows.

 

You can use the HP cloud recovery tool to on another PC to create a USB recovery drive to reinstall the original HP factory image on the new drive.
