Product: OMEN 30L Desktop - GT13-0149no
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)
I have tried several times to install Ubuntu on my Desktop, with no success. The main roadblock: I cannot changes the SATA Emulation option in my BIOS, and it is stuck as RAID. I have searched so many times for solutions, but in the end, since I cannot change the hard disk controller type to AHCI, I cannot follow any of the other steps dscribed here: [content removed]
Why is this option locked for me? How can I unlock it? Is there a way around this? (I have the latest BIOS taken from HP Support)
