Greetings @Yousif_Oman

Welcome to the HP Forum.

Well, this is an unusual Windows setup prompt from my perspective.

I switched to building AMD PCs in 2020. I've never had this problem when installing Windows on AMD systems.

Are you doing a RAID array? You would need to inject the AMD RAID driver so Windows setup can detect the drives.

Or maybe your PC's BIOS is now set to RAID instead of AHCI. You would to change the BIOS setting AHCI if you are not doing RAID.

Dear Mr. Bill_To,

thank you for your interest. My computer has only one storage unit, so I did not use a RAID array.

Dear Mr. Bill_To,

I can't change the ahci setting in the bios because hp lock the bios features that you can change

Greetings @Yousif_Oman

My pleasure.

Check the BIOS Storage sub-menu for: AHCI, SATA Emulation, and RAID options.

Or try setting the BIOS to defaults to see if this helps.

Again, I've been building AMD systems since 2020. I have never had a driver injection prompt during Windows setup. And it looks like Windows Setup needs a driver to show available drives.

Have you verified your PC is compatible with W11? I think W11 would flag the installation if your PC is not compatible prior to getting to the drive detection point.

I'm sorry, I have never had the Windows prompt you are seeing during a Windows installation on an AMD system.. I have no additional suggestions.

Maybe a different Forum member can assist.

Regards
