I have tried all the regular steps. Installing the latest chipset and installing it then restarting my laptop. Added to this my device cant find the output devices. I originally had 3 errors: unknown device, multimedia controller and pci data acquisition and signal processing controller. i fixed the first 2 but I'm struggling to fix the pci data acquisition and signal processing controller. The error is error code23
The device instance path: PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_318C&SUBSYS_72708086&REV_06\3&11583659&0&01
The hardware ids:
PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_318C&SUBSYS_72708086&REV_06
PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_318C&SUBSYS_72708086
PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_318C&CC_118000
PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_318C&CC_1180
i dont know how much this information will help but there you go. And can someone tell me if the audio error is related. Thnx for reading

All I can suggest is that you probably need to install the Intel(R) Dynamic Platform and Thermal Framework Processor Participant driver from your notebook's support page.
That device can be installed by the Intel chipset installation utility, but there is normally a second instance of that device that is installed by the above driver.

I doubt that I will be able to help you find an audio driver for your notebook.
I see other folks having audio problems with that model that have posted on the Microsoft Windows website for help.
The only driver that I could provide for you that might work would be this one:
Realtek High-Definition (HD) Audio Driver - Kaby Lake / Whiskey Lake / Gemini Lake / Comet Lake
