HP SSD FX900 Pro M.2 1TB
Microsoft Windows 11

Hello everyone. After browsing the forum for quite some time and making multipe searches, I am at a loss on how to claim warranty on my HP FX900 M.2 drive. When I try to get support through HP and enter my serial number on the drive, it states "Please enter a valid serial number." It is stamped directly on the drive, so I am not sure how much more valid it can get. I was wondering how I would be able to get support for this drive that has failed on multiple occassions, especially as I am not able to register the product on the HP website.

@AK196, Welcome to HP Support Community,

Thank you for posting your query.

Just to clarify, did you purchase the HP FX900 M.2 drive separately, or was it shipped as part of a laptop or desktop? Sometimes warranty claims can be a bit different depending on how the product was originally sold. Let me know, and we can figure out the next steps!

If the drive was included with a desktop or laptop, could you please send us the product number and serial number of the unit via private message?
