Hi @tonibdds

Welcome to the HP Support Community! We're here to help you get back up and running.

Thanks for explaining what you're trying to do. Rolling back your HP computer to a previous date in Windows 11 is done using System Restore, which lets you revert your system settings, drivers, and registry to a point when everything was working smoothly—without affecting your personal files.

Here’s a step-by-step guide:

How to Restore Windows 11 to a Previous Date

Step 1: Open System Restore

  • Press Windows + S and type: Create a restore point
  • Click the result to open System Properties

Step 2: Launch the Restore Wizard

  • In the System Protection tab, click System Restore
  • Click Next in the wizard

Step 3: Choose a Restore Point

  • Select a restore point from the list (look for one dated before the issue started)
  • Check Show more restore points to see all available options

Step 4: Confirm and Restore

  • Review the details and click Finish
  • Your PC will restart and begin the restoration process

⚠️ Important Notes:

  • This process does not delete your personal files (documents, photos, etc.)
  • It will remove apps and drivers installed after the selected restore point
  • You can reinstall those apps later if needed

If System Restore Is Disabled or No Points Exist

  • You may need to enable System Protection:
    • In System Properties, select your system drive (usually C:)
    • Click Configure → choose Turn on system protection
    • Set disk space usage and click OK

If you’d like help choosing the right restore point or interpreting what gets rolled back, I’m here to assist.
