@Xbigmike29

Welcome to the HP Forums 🙂

I would like to take a moment and thank you for using this forum, it is a great place to find answers & meet like minded tech enthusiasts!

As I understand your device is stuck in a boot loop,

Don't worry as I'll be glad to help, however, to provide an accurate resolution, I need a few more details:

  • Does this happen after getting to the HP logo screen or is that not visible either?
  • Did you reset the BIOS using the HP Article?
    • If not, Click here for steps on getting it done.

While you respond to that, here's what you need to do:

Restart the computer and tap on F10 during the restart to access the BIOS screen and check if that works.

Perform the steps in this document to resolve an issue where a screen has power but does not display anything.

Remove any media from the floppy drives, CD/DVD drives, USB ports, and memory card reader slots, and disconnect all non-essential devices (printers, scanners, external hard drives, and similar). Leave only the keyboard and mouse connected to the computer.

With the devices disconnected, restart the computer. If the screen now displays a picture and Windows starts properly, a device is preventing the computer from starting. See Updating the BIOS to resolve this issue.

If the screen does not display a picture or Windows does not start properly, select one of the symptoms that most closely matches the condition of the computer:

  • Screen remains blank and does not display the HP logo screen
  • Screen briefly displays the HP logo screen

CLICK HERE FOR DETAILS & FURTHER INSTRUCTIONS

(By the end of this article all the issues should be resolved)

Keep me posted,

For I (Or a trusted colleague) shall follow-up on this case to ensure the concern has been addressed,

And your device is up and running again,

that said, If the information I've provided was helpful,

give us some reinforcement by clicking the solution and kudos buttons,

that'll help us and others see that we've got the answers!

Good Luck.

Thank you for responding,

This is the Riddle_Decipher, again!

It's great to have you back 😉

Please run SFC /scannow to check system files, volsnap.sys may corrupted. You can copy this files from another PC and replace it.

Or you can perform an in-place upgrade to fix system file:

Click here for steps (redirects you to the Microsoft website)

What is volsnap.sys?
The process known as Volume Shadow Copy Driver or VolSnap belongs to software Microsoft Windows Operating System by Microsoft

If the issue persists, you may want to backup all personal data using the safe mode and perform a push button reset using this link: CLICK HERE FOR STEPS

If that doesn't work, you may need to reinstall the Windows using the HP Recovery Manager: CLICK HERE FOR STEPS.

Keep us posted,

(We shall troubleshoot as a team, fight till the end and emerge victorious)
