Suddenly USB Flash drive Stopped Working and windows unable to format. In Manage Its showing as Primary Partion with data, but accessible in explorer. 123.jpg456.jpg

Since it is a 64GB memory-stick, spend 1/4 to 1/2 of $64 to replace it.

 

Like a 7-year-old automobile tire that is "bald" and "worn-out", there is no way to fix it -- nobody does "retreading" on automobile tires, but some shops do "retreading" on commercial truck tires.

As you are formatting it, there is nothing important on it and nothing to loose by trying to clean it. Drop in some Isopropyl alcohol and leave it sitting.  You could cut and emery board (cardboard nail file) cut into the right width to clean inside. Sometimes dirt gets in and sticks.  Check with a magnifying glass even. Try it on another pc or laptop before giving up on it.
