Hi @Destiny5-_,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

It sounds like your HP Envy x360 is having some power issues. Here are a few steps you can try.

Check the Power Adapter and Cable: Make sure the power adapter is properly connected to both the laptop and the power source. If you have another compatible power adapter, try using that to rule out a faulty adapter.

Inspect the Charging Port: Ensure the charging port on the laptop is not damaged or loose. Sometimes, a faulty port can prevent charging.

Perform a Hard Reset:

  • Disconnect the power adapter and any external devices connected to the laptop.
  • Press and hold the power button for 15-20 seconds to discharge any residual power.
  • Reconnect the power adapter and try turning the laptop on again.

Check for Battery Issues:

  • If your laptop has a removable battery, remove it and then try to power on the laptop with the power adapter plugged in.
  • If it turns on, reinsert the battery and try again.

Look for LED Indicators: Check if there are any LED indicators on the laptop or power adapter that show power is being received.

Test with an External Monitor: If you have an external monitor, connect your laptop to it to see if there is a display issue rather than a power issue.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
