recently my hp laptop was working fine then all of a sudden I was on a flight and tired turning it on but it wouldn’t turn on I tried changing it and it still didn’t work I thought maybe the adapter (for the Europe outlets)
didn’t work but when I got back home it still won’t turn on
the indicator of the power button turns on for a few seconds then shuts off and when it’s on I can turn on the caps lock light then it turns off
tge charger light is also on when plugged in when I try to turn in on I can’t hear the fan or see anything on the screen I have no idea what could be causing it it was working one day and not working the next
please help me fix this do I need to go to a repair shop or is it a simple fix I can do at home?

Welcome to the HP Support Community.
I understand that your laptop not powering on. I'd like to help!
As it is not powering on (chances are less) but could be due to excess static build up and at times a power drain has helped cure it and get back to working as well. So have you tried it?
Please disconnect all the devices and cables connected to your computer including the power cable and then press and hold the power button for about 20 seconds and connect the power cable back again and try to power on the computer.
If that does not work, then it could be a hardware issue. Let me know.
