Microsoft Windows 11

Hi,

so I was using my laptop, just studying, it randomly turned off with a black screen. Then I turned it off, turned it on again. The laptop starts up making noises, has the power light on. But the screen remains black. After trying many ways to get it fixed, so turning it off and on 3 times and tapping Esc many times. Doesn’t work. Then tried holding Windows, ctrl and B. It didn’t work. So after a few days of trying to get it to work, I opened it again this morning and the black screen now turns on and stays to a black screen with a HP logo and automatic repair. The circle showing progress is frozen. I turned it off again, and turned it on, there is now just the initial black screen. I’m sure the automatic repair screen may come back again because it’s appeared twice now, but does anyone know how to get past this stage? I really don’t mind about saving data or whatever, I’m happy to completely erase it and get it to safe mode. How do I get it working again?

Thank you very much

Typically when the laptop is "making noises", it means there is a hardware failure.

To verify that run the Diagnostics routine.

To run the Diagnostics routine, Start tapping the Esc key BEFORE starting the PC and then press the start button.
Keep tapping the Esc key until a popup menu shows. Then pick Diagnostics from that popup menu, F2.
Report back with the results.
