hp p6205uk
Microsoft Windows 7 (32-bit)

So recently an office nearby was wanting to get rid of an hp p6205uk they just gave it to me and when I received it I cleaned it up and powered it on I realised that they wanted their files backed up so I tried to get it that’s when they say to me that the password they forgot it and lost the reset disk. I tried to use the hop file recovery system but that didn’t do anything the last backup was back in 2014 I installed Linux on it and it sprung into life then that’s when it hit me the WiFi card the speakers and the hard drive was basically busted because the factory made 5 partitions on the drive cutting down a 1tb hard drive a lot. any ideas because I really don’t want to blow a lot of cash on an 11 year old pc

I'm not sure what you're asking -- but it sounds like there are genuine hardware issues, none of which can be easily or cheaply fixed.

If you wanted to run Windows on it, since Win7 is no longer available from MS or HP, you're looking at in10 -- and my guess is that this old a PC will not work due to no Win10 drivers for hardware this old.

IF it works under Linux, then use that -- but Windows is not likely going to be a working option.
