Just got The Hp pavilion 20 All in One Pc got it from a thrift shop and had to buy a power cord and I just need help with the power on password Just need help by passing it

Try these steps:

Obtain Proof of Ownership:

  • Ensure you have proof of purchase or ownership, as you may need it if you contact HP support.

Attempt a Power Reset:

  • Turn off the computer.
  • Unplug the power cord.
  • Press and hold the power button for about 15 seconds to drain any residual power.
  • Reconnect the power cord and try to turn on the computer again.

Use HP Recovery Manager:

  • If the PC does not have a password set at the BIOS level but rather at the user account level, you can use the HP Recovery Manager:
    • Turn on the computer and press F11 repeatedly until the recovery environment loads.
    • Follow the on-screen instructions to perform a system recovery or reset.
