Hp pavillion

Power on button won’t work. Seems stuck. This system worked fine with no issues until today. I went to turn it on and the power button seems permanently depressed. Help!

@Kimike -- exactly which model of the HP Pavilion do you have?

The method for disassembling the computer's case depends on the exact model.

But, the principle is to access the back of the panel that contains the button, and push it out, to its normal position. Then, maybe, a very small amount of lubricant, such as sewing-machine oil, or a bit of butter on a Q-tip stick, can be used to lubricate the button, so that it slides in-and-out more smoothly.
