Operating System: macOS 12.0 Monterey

I need to get my DeskJet 3755 Printer reinstalled on my laptop.  I accidentally totaled removed it when I was tryi9ng to 

solve a printing problem because the printer was offline.

Googling I see a lot of complaints about recent updates to Mac OS and printer problems.

Typical one is here but DO not DO anything THERE other than read about the problem.

There may be volunteers here with more Apple experience than I but my suggestion is to ask  over at  at the apple community for why a working printer stopped working.
