- I am getting a System configuration error code purple

Product: Pavilion Elite e9220y
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 7 (64-bit)
Ive tried restoring my system from the recovery partition. After running and passing all system checks provided in the recovery program. And running all the way through the recovery process it gives me a system configuration error code purple at the very end

From what I read about "code purple" - it is a HP thing created by a routine designed to detect a hardware change from the original setup. Here is a "fix"
