P6803w
Microsoft Windows 7 (32-bit)

Hi,

I am having trouble finding the right Ethernet/LAN driver for my P6803.  It has an Avorix RS880-uATX  motherboard.  The problem I am encountering is that entering the serial number to find the downloads it shows my system as being a Windows 7 64-bit, but it is a not.  It's a 32 bit system.  Is it going to make any difference which Network or Ethernet controller driver I download and install?  I am having to use the internet on one computer, and the driver I need has to go on the main computer.  Thanks for any help that can be provided.

Hi, @silverwolf109

I checked the contents of the driver file that mdklassen posted, and it only contains the 64 bit drivers.

Sometimes the driver file contains both.

No worries however, as you can get the driver directly from the Realtek site.

Download, unzip and run the setup application from the W7 driver at the link below...

Thank you very much...just in case do you know of an alternate site for that download?  I seem to be having trouble with the link on the realtek page.  Thanks.

Hi,

Thanks for your suggestion.  To be honest, I prefer the 32 bit version because it works better with some of my older games.  If I could find a way to get rid of the 64 bit architecture in my XPS One, I would do so and set up the 32 bit version there as well.  I appreciate your tiking time to reply, and if I do need to do so, I already have bothe versions of Win 7 on CD, as well as the older versions of xp, 2000 server, all tyhe way back to '95 and '98.
