Microsoft tech did a repair install of my operating system when he could not get printer working properly and said it was because of errors in operating system. After repair install I wanted to preserve it and tried to back up files and system image. But I can’t backup Windows 10. I keep getting this:
A shadow copy could not be created. Please check VSS and SPP applications event logs for more information. Details: In sufficient storage available to create either shadow copy storage file or other shadow copy data.
Sfc scan good, no errors
DISM scan good, no errors
Chkdsk on C drive no errors
But there is not room for a shadow copy. Can't see reserve partition on C drive, but that might be the problem.
Any ideas?

No troubleshooting could solve problem. VSS and SPP set properly in services. No backup program using Win10 shadow copy could work because Win10 either did not see space available or saw stuff not there. Backup location was a 1T external HDD.
Did a repair install and that fixed it.

hi

I don't know what exactly you are trying to do, and with what...
But you have a 256 gb drive, shown here
so if you try to make a backup on this disk, it is very likely that you do not have enough space, and the best thing to do
If you want, make a copy of your system using software such as Macrium, or Acronis and an external disk
