Operating System: Microsoft Windows Vista

I recently done cleaning my apartment and found my old notebook which are about 14 years old and tried to login but as is turned out I had forgotten the password, and do not know how I was going to fix that and my friend said to me that I should ask how for the solution. Please help me out.
