I have a HP 19-2113w and my hard drive went out and so i baught a new hard drive and windows 8.1 pro to go back on it to find out that (you guys) HP set this computer up to where NO one can access the lagacy boot option in bios. This is Bull Crap.!!!!! Cause i paid $400. for this new and it does not come with recovery disk.!!! I need these recovery disk can someone please help me on this.!! Thanks

onto a Secure Boot
If you want to run windows 8 in secure boot environment and want to use features such as GPT Hard drive then you have to go for clean install.
* First of all have a copy of windows 8 upgrade on your pen drive.
* Insert your pen drive and then restart your pc.
* In my laptop it is F9, to enter into boot device order.
* After entering into the boot device order , choose the usb option which has letter encoded like this "UEFI".
* After selecting the usb option with UEFI letter, it will get boot up.Then carry out normal procedure.
* When comes to installation, choose custom installation.
*In order to use feature such as secure boot and GPT hard drive format etc you have to go for clean install,which mean you have to delete all existing partitions. After deleting all the partition click next to install
