My computer was working fine. The screen went blank. I shut off computer and it would not turn back on. It swept into Automatic Repair. I have tried everything and nothing works. When I do an HP diagnostics I get the following:
Failure ID PGECRA-00092K-QFFWWJ-60TE03. What does this mean?

Hi
Sorry to tell you this error message indicates your primary HDD is failing or has failed.
You will have to replace the HDD.
Do you have HP Recovery media? Are you using disk imaging software such as Macrium Reflect free to create disk images?
You can copy a recent OS image to a new HDD/SSD using imaging software such as Macrium or others. Goggle free disk management software for other options which can save your bacon in the future.
You will have to purchase a new HDD or SSD having a capacity of 1TB or greater if you decide to use HP Recovery media. The HP recovery software will not work correctly using a new storage device of lessor capacity.
You can purchase HP recovery media here. Or you can install W10 clean.
You can purchase a 500GB SSD or less if you install W10 clean.
A SSD will enhance system performance. It is a recommended upgrade.
W10 can be downloaded at this site if you decide to do a clean W10 installation.

Hi Suncityman
I have never seen this error when downloading the W10 installation media tool using a different PC with either: W7, W8.x, or W10 operating systems running.
Are you first downloading the "Create Windows Installation Media" Tool?
Then run this tool after it downloads.
The tool should then download either: W10 to be used to create bootable DVD media, or download and create a bootable USB stick with either W10 Home or W10 Pro available for installation. This option is based on your choice.
Then boot your PC to the bootable DVD or USB stick. Select the correct W10 version. Usually the correct version is W10 Home.
Select : I don't have a W10 product key.
W10 should install and activate provided your PC is connected to the network. An ethernet connection is best when doing the installation.

There was a box that popped up during the downloading process that said something to the effect "check box to download best version for this computer" or something like that. I unchecked the box and the download worked perfectly. This fixed my computer. Thank you Grzwacz!
