I have a new pavilion all in one, I cannot get it to turn on. It’s telling me to check the hdmi

New computer and it tells me to check the cable. Do I need that cable to operate my pc and if so, where does in connect to?

Do you see this message after turning on the PC?

Do you have any HDMI cable connected to the computer?

What is the exact model for your computer?

 

Meanwhile, I recommend you follow the below steps and check if it helps.

  1. Turn off the computer. Disconnect the power cord from the back of the computer.
  2. With the power off and the power cord disconnected, press the Power button on the computer for 5 seconds. The power light indicator, which is on the power button or near it, might turn on briefly but then it goes off.
  3. Reconnect the power cord and turn on the computer.
