I have an error saying Boot Device Not Found on my HP OMEN

I have tried all the fixes digital-wise but i'm afraid to open up my computer's panels . I know what the problem is, the hard drive is not being detected. It works after a few tries in BIOS modes, changing it to default settings, going to the booting systems, and even resetting my pc while keeping all my personal files, but it just goes straight back after a few minutes of VR. I feel like I have tried everything. Need help ASAP. I use it daily.

Is the CMOS/RTC battery in good order?

It shows the correct time and date and saves any BIOS changes?

First:- Turn off the computer, press and hold the PWR button for 4 seconds.

Then - Leave only keyboard and mouse connected, disconnect all externally connected
devices such as Docking Station, USB storage devices, displays, and printers.
Unplug the AC adapter from the computer.

Next - Press and Hold the Power button for 15 seconds to Hard Reset.
Rinse and Repeat

Power on your PC, press Esc (repeatedly), then F2 at the prompt.
Choose System Tests (Fast Test does a 4 minute hardware check).

This helped and worked for a second, but then it blue screened. I logged back in normally and played some vr but then it went back to the no boot device screen.

I have managed to fix it. I got the courage and opened up my computer and saw this little cable from my hard drive was slightly unplugged so I plugged it back in and Alakazam. It worked.

Okay so i got the problom and i had to reinstall windows but it wasnt the one that came with the pc so when i went to buy the recovery media it wouldnt let me buy it somone HELP ME i dont have the stuff my pc came with
