Pavillion HPE-137c
Microsoft Windows 7 (64-bit)

When attempting to open videos from micro SD/adapter when installed in front panel of desktop, the operating system performs a shutdown and callls for re-start.  Purchaed Insignia Memory Card Reader thinking it might have inclusive drivers, did same thing. Ideas and suggestions appreciated.

This might be more of an issue with the media player you are using and not with the MicroSD card.

So, I would copy a video from the MicroSD card to your hard drive and then try opening it from there.

If it still crashes, my guess is that you are using Windows Media Player -- and that is about the worst media player out there.

If you are using that, then download and install VideoLanPlayer (VLC) and try that, instead.  You can get it from here: https://www.videolan.org/vlc/download-windows.html
