OMEN by HP Obelisk Desktop 875-0034

hello, i have an OMEN obelisk and ive had it for a few years, i recently put in some new 3200mhz ram, but its stuck at 2133mhz, i was looking on BIOS to see if there was an option to enable XMP which tunes the Ram to its original 3200mhz, i was doing research and i realized HP does not support XMP for some reason, i kept researching and  came across  another bios for OMEN specifically, is there an update or download i can use to have that kind of bios settings? the reason why i want that because the new OMEN bios settings have an option to enable XMP.

Hi @ErnestoP

Welcome to the HP Forum.

This HP Site has the latest BIOS update for your MB. You would have to check the BIOS after doing this BIOS update to see if the update adds XMP support.

You might be able to find compatible memory that will run at 3200 at Crucial Memory. Run the Crucial Scanner to see what is available.

Maybe you can return the current memory for a refund. I have no idea if the Crucial memory will run at 3200.

Regards
