I need to enable rebar for my graphics card on 880-160se. But there is no access to rebar or  4G Decoding in the advanced bios. and updating bios doesn't seem to enable it automatically.

Hi @HarperFour4

Welcome to HP Support Community,

Thank you for posting your query.

To enable Resizable BAR (Rebar) support for your graphics card on an 880-160SE, especially if the BIOS does not provide direct access to the option, you can try the following steps:

Check Compatibility:

  • CPU: Make sure that your CPU supports Resizable BAR. AMD Ryzen 3000 and newer, or Intel 10th generation and newer CPUs typically support it.
  • Motherboard: Verify that your motherboard supports Resizable BAR and 4G Decoding, even if these options aren’t visible in the BIOS. Some motherboards may not have exposed options despite being compatible.

To further assist you, I would need to check the exact specifications of your unit.

Kindly share the serial number of your unit via private message.

I hope these steps help resolve the issue

Please feel free to reply here if you have any questions or if you need further clarification on any of the steps.

Take care and have a good day.
