Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hi, I have a Pavilion Desktop 510-p127c. The HDD has failed and I need a new one, but my operating system came preloaded so how can I get a replacement from HP.

Hi:

 

No replacement hard drives come with operating systems installed.

 

You can buy a new hard drive with the same specifications as the one that failed and using another Windows PC running Windows 7 64 bit or newer, make a bootable USB recovery drive that will reinstall W10, the drivers and the software that originally came with your PC.

 

Here is an info link for how to use that utility.  You will need a 32 GB USB flash drive to create the installation media with.
