I need windows 7 driver for USB 3 controler for a HP 110-210.

sp64532 will only install the smbus controller device.

You need this driver for the USB 3 ports to work.   Install and restart the PC.

This package provides the AMD USB 3.0 Driver for supported computer models that are running a supported operating system.

Sorry I meant to say sp64532.

Tried that got msg say something about "minimum requirements not being met to install".

I also tried sp72680 suggested by another person but I get an "Access Denied" msg even when run as Administrater.

Any other suggestions?

I'm surprised the USB 3 driver I posted didn't work.

Try the AMD chipset driver directly from AMD.

Scroll down the page, and select the W10/W7 64 bit driver file, install and restart the PC.

Thanks for the reply.

I tried sp73680 and got Access Denied msg when I tried to run it as Administrator and normally.

Any other suggestions?

Here is some more info for you.

I'm installing win 7 home premium on a machine that had win 8.1 on it.

Now I haven't gotten ALL of the updates installed after running installation of Service Pack 1.

Could that be a problem with both sp64532 and sp 73680?

Try the chipset driver I just posted from AMD.

As long as you have SP1 installed, the drivers should work.

That AMD chipset driver worked.

I downloaded the Cjpset driver that was listed in the drivers on the HP support page but they were dated some time in 2014.

That was the newest that HP had listed for the 110-210 PC.

The reason the HP chipset driver didn't work is because it only contains the smbus controller driver, not the USB 3 drivers.

What surprised me was that the HP USB 3 driver didn't work.
