Greetings @Sparkyjoe

Welcome to the HP Forum.

I also can't find any MB specs for your PC.

Go to this HP Site. Scroll down to "Enter your serial number to view full product specs".

Enter your PC's serial number to see what info is provided.

Your HP PC needs to have: video and active USB function for a successful USB BIOS recovery.

One thing you could try is to make a HP USB BIOS recovery stick. You need to download the correct BIOS update for your specific HP PC.

Run the BIOS update on a second PC. Then select the USB recovery drive option. You would need a blank USB stick to do this.

Insert the USB stick in your PC when the PC is off. Press and hold down the "Windows Key" and the "B" key at the same time. Now simultaneously press and hold the power button for 2 to 3 seconds. Then only release on the power button.

The BIOS recovery should start.

I did create a bios recovery disk using the same bios update that crashed it in the first place but alas that does nothing either. Do I need to open up the pc and get info off of the mother board?

What is your PC's status? Your HP PC needs to have: video and active USB function for a successful HP USB BIOS flash recovery.

I can only suggest contacting HP Support for factory service or have a local PC Tech try to flash the BIOS using a serial ISP programmer if the PC is DOA.

Yeah, that's the route I have been thinking. Thank you for your help anyways.
