I tried to upgrade my i5 processor to an i7 8700, I have a IPM17-DD2 mother board , I tried to run it and did all the steps correctly but when I tried to turn on my PC with the i7 it did not turn on . The power button blipped green for a moment and the fans ran for a moment before everything was off again . I have a bios f.26 and cannot upgrade to any other bios , what do I need to do ?
