I recently got an HP pavilion MS235 from my parents to work on an update with newer hardware so it could run more smoothly and act as a little bit of a gaming computer so I bought a new processor to put in it to do just that. When i put it in and tried to start it, however, I would get a blue screen and i BIOS error popping up before the computer completely shutting off. After discussing it with my roommate we decided that it probably just needed a BIOS update before putting the processor in since the latest one was from 2010, but after searching for awhile we couldn't find one for this desktop because according to the HP support assistant it had the latest one installed. I just want to know if my computer is just too old to download a BIOS update or if there is till hope.

Hello
to be able to respond effectively, if possible!
You should know at least the processor model!
And confirm the model of pc / motherboard
I have for example this:
