I want to purchase recovery disks. Please help!

Please help me find recovery options. My Pavilion error code is Bad_System_Config_Info.    I have repeatedly tried all the instructions on this website but my desktop will not work.   Help me Obi Wan Kenobi, you're my only hope!! Thank you.

Hi:

You can order recovery media from HP at the link below.

It will be for W8.1 though, not W10.

https://support.hp.com/us-en/mediaorder/HP-Pavilion-23-q000-All-in-One-Desktop-PC-series/7779725/mod...

After W8.1 is installed, you can upgrade back to W10 for free by clicking on the blue Update Now button at the link below.

https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/software-download/windows10

Before paying HP for recovery disks, you may want to try reinstalling W10 for free by making a bootable USB installation flash drive using the media creation tool on the above link.  Make the 64 bit installation media.

If you are asked to enter a product key during the installation process, select the 'I don't have a product key' option, and W10 will install and automatically activate once you are connected to the internet.

After W10 installs, you can install the drivers and available software from your PC's support page.
