IDT High Definition Audio CODEC not recognized, Error while update driver.  No sound.  No speaker or headphone plug in error

Hi:

 

See if installing this W10 IDT w/Beats audio driver from a newer model HP desktop PC gets the audio to work again.

 

Restart the PC after installing the driver...

Thank you Paul.  I was kind of finding the way to fix the issue.  Not a perfect one but a working one.  

I've downloaded the IDT High Definition Audio CODEC, then rolled Window back to the previous working version.

It worked.
