Hello everyone,

I hope you're doing great. Well I have an IPIEL-LA3  motherboard which does not boot, One short beep, no power on Keyboard and mouse but fans are spinning well. What could be the possible problem on this motherboard.

Greetings @JaspherUg

Welcome to the HP Forum.

The MB is, at least, 11 years old.

A single beep code at startup on many MBs usually indicates a successful POST.

HP no longer provides BIOS error codes for Legacy PCs. I know of no way to ID what a single beep code means. Again, a single beep is usually good to hear.

It also seems like your PC has no: video and USB mouse and keyboard function. This is usually not a good thing to see.

Any component connected to the MB, including the MB, could be causing your PC's startup symptoms.

Reduce the PC to a minimum config:

- Verify the monitor works. And try all available USB ports.

- One stick of known good RAM

- The CPU

-Power supply

- Known good graphics card or onboard graphics if the MB and rear I/O supports this.

Regards
