I want to load Windows 7 Home Premium on my brand-new HP 290 G3 SFF Celeron 8GB RAM 256GB SSD FreeDOS Desktop PC. Using the HP F9 (boot menu) and ISO USB, the Windows files load okay then freeze at the Windows graphic stage? My HP BIOS 2.2.0.0. Setup Utility (F10) doesn’t have a UEFI Legacy option either! Can anybody suggest a solution?

Hi:
You cannot install or run W7 on that PC for several reasons.
The reason the installation 'freezes' at the beginning is because W7 does not have the USB 3.1 drivers required to proceed any further, and none exist for W7.
If by some miracle you were able to install W7, you would find no drivers for any of the hardware.
