How do I get to the boot window so I can install the operating system back on to a new hard drive cause the old one crashed

Have the Windows installation media in the PCs DVD drive or USB port.

 

Turn on or restart the PC.

 

Immediately tap the ESC key to get the menu of options.

 

Select the F9 boot options menu and from that, select the Windows installation media device to boot from and press the Enter key.
