Product: Pavillion 570-p081a
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I am wanting to purchase a refurbished Pavillion 570-p081a with Windows 10 on it from the HP online shop. This PC doesn't have an SSD. I want to install a SSD in the PC.

 

I need to know what medium is provided with the PC for installing Win 10 please?

 

Can this PC be setup with Win10 on the SSD as the C drive and the standard HDD as drive D?

 

Are there drivers etc on the HP support site for setting up this PC in this manner?

HP no longer furnishes media with a new PC for installing Windows.  Since Win8x, HP no longer included media with new PCs but instead, included a utility whereby you can create your own media -- but that is only included with PCs that come preloaded with Windows.

 

As to refurbished PCs, we have no information here on what is included with them; so, you would have to check the site to see if HP includes Windows media with that PC.

 

When an HP PC comes with an SSD and an HDD, it is already preloaded so the OS is on the SSD.
