Hey,

we've got more than 20 t540 thin clients which are installed with igelOS at the moment and we want to install Windows 10 LTSC on them.

A few of them are doing fine but another few don't want to boot the USB stick.

On the usb stick is the image made with rufus. If we boot from it, the windows boot manager comes up and loads. After about 10 Minutes we get  a bluescreen with the pnp driver watchdog error.

If we boot another image with windows 11 for example, it works. But some thin clients are booting just fine. We have found out, that there are several differen bios version on the clients. M44.01.06 or M44.01.09 aren't working for example. M44.01.14 or M44.01.12 are working.

So I tried to update the bios to the newest version M44.01.16 but it's not working. Same if I update it to the functioning M44.01.14.

I also tried to switch the SSDs from a non functional client into a functional client. But it's not working. It seems like the bios is the problem. But if I update the bios or switch the SSD into a client with a bios version which works, it's not working.

So it's rather the SSD with a problem? But how does it come, that every client with the newer bios versions are working and older aren't?

edit: Forgot to mention. If I disable the SSD in the bios, the windows boot manager starts up just fine. The windows setup comes up but of course I can't install it, since there is no SSD to choose from.
