Probook 440 G3
Microsoft Windows 7 (64-bit)

After many times of  success installing sp82472 (11.7.0.1045) and rebbot, and check with Intel SA00086 detection tool, it seems Intel Management Engine version still  11.0.0.1171 and vulnerability still there. Any  suggestion to clarify the issue? Thanks.

It seems Probook 440 G3 is not affected

Having the same issue as the OP. Updated a system many times with different ways of reinstalling etc. but still Intel tool is displaying 11.0 while the installed version is 11.7. Any suggestions? The Security Bulletin you replied with is from the may issue. Not the INTEL-SA-00086..

Thanks VishalGS for reply.

Even 440 G3 is not listed, I still want to clarify "install hp new driver but still got old version number" issue. Thanks.

VishalGS was refering to the older 07 leak. So your 440 G3 could be vulnerable for the 86 if i'm right

Richrd, you're right.

VishalGS, would you help to check again?

It's an urgent issue. Since nearly all Wndows notebooks of my office are ALL 440 G3.

After applying the HP update, did you reboot your computer before running the Intel test?

1. sp82496.exe (reboot)
2. sp82472.exe (reboot)

3. Intel SA-00086 Detection Tool  (result: Okay)

Thanks a lot.
