Hi @shivilapii,

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query. I will be glad to help you.

The Code 39 error for your Intel(R) Iris(R) Xe Graphics adapter means Windows is unable to load the driver properly, and the message about the INF file lacking a digital signature confirms that the driver installation is failing due to security validation.

This can also explain why:

  • Your audio isn’t working (graphics and audio drivers are often linked).
  • Your laptop is slow.
  • You can’t connect to external screens.

Let’s fix this step-by-step:

1. Uninstall the Faulty Driver

  1. Open Device Manager (Windows + X → Device Manager).
  2. Expand Display adapters.
  3. Right-click Intel(R) Iris(R) Xe Graphics → Uninstall device.
  4. Check “Delete the driver software for this device” if available.
  5. Restart your PC.

2. Download and Install the Correct Driver from HP

  • Go to the Official HP® Support.
  • Download the Intel Graphics Driver specifically for Windows 11 64-bit.
  • Install it manually.

3. Install Intel Graphics Driver from Intel (if HP version fails)

Sometimes HP’s version is outdated. Try Intel’s official driver:

Intel Iris Xe Graphics Driver Download

  • Download the .exe installer.
  • Run it and follow the prompts.
  • Restart your PC.

4. Enable Driver Signature Enforcement (if disabled)

If you previously disabled signature enforcement, re-enable it:

  1. Open Command Prompt as Administrator.
  2. Run: bcdedit /set nointegritychecks off
  3. Restart your PC.

5. Run Windows Update

  • Go to Settings > Windows Update.
  • Check for updates and install any optional driver updates.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have an amazing day!
