I read some articles and community posts where 32GB of ram can supposedly be used in a
HP Pavilion 15-cc123cl laptop with no problem. But when I look at my system information and also even the HP specification forums, it says the maximum amount of ram that can be installed is 16GB of ram. My final question; Can HP Pavilion - 15-cc123cl truly support 32GB of ram or is the maximum 16GB ram?
Thank you in advance to anyone who helps me out😊

Hi:
The Crucial memory report for your notebook indicates that 2 x 16 GB of memory is supported.
https://www.crucial.com/compatible-upgrade-for/hp---compaq/pavilion-15-cc123cl
The hardware your PC has supports 32 GB of memory (2 x 16 GB).
HP indicates the max is 2 x 8 GB, but they may not have tested 16 GB memory modules in that model series.
