Is this motherboard compatible to convert to the GPT Partition management from the older MBR type ? Thanks.

Welcome to the forum.

I am not a HP employee.

 

You have a Legacy BIOS. A Legacy BIOS PC can work with GPT.

 

Why do you want to do this?

 

You need a UEFI BIOS and GPT to use HDDs exceeding the 2 TB threshold unless you partition the HDD in 2 TB chunks.

More robust & secure boots and of course larger drive partitions  as 3-4 TB these days are looking small. Thanks foe the welcome and reply. This is on my Wife's HP desktop.
