I would like to use the same monitor for my HP desktop and a Home Security camera NVA system. I can can use My Display to change the inputs between the two systems, but I would like to find a faster way to accomplish this, i.e. Hotkey, desktop shortcut, etc.
Thank You

Probably you need a KVM switch. Depending on how do you connect your monitor now. Please read the following article which helps you to get a right switch

How fast is required ?
There are 3 types of Video switches or KVM switches, depending on the video switching core technologies are used accordingly.
1. switch with NO EDID/DDC information processing - most of the switches in the market now (over 90%) are using this "hard-wire" switching "technology" (for me it no technology, but just like the traditional mechanical rotary switch in electronic form.
- Pros: low cost
- Cons:
- Will cause your systems holding/ stopped by hardware hot-plug errors when switching.
- No EDID/DDC feeding, means images/ video will resized or resolutions can not kept, after you making switch.
- long switching time, (every time you make a switch, just like unplug and replug the physical video cables to the systems and to your monitors.
- may damage your systems or monitors physically
2. DDM class Video or KVM switches
3. Video switches with video frame-buffers - for professional movie making or broadcasting industry - no latency video switching use.
